SABC1 TO BROADCAST AMAPIANO’S AWARDS THIS FRIDAY


SABC1 is the broadcast partner of the first ever South African Amapiano Awards that took place on the 23rd October 2021, and the channel announces that the award ceremony will be broadcast on Friday 3rd December 2021 at 9pm.

The Amapiano stars were honoured at the award ceremony that was graced by celebrity guests such as Ntando Duma, Jessica Nkosi, Vuyo Dabula, DJ Tira, Zenokuhle Maseko, Samora Mangesi, Zodwa Wabantu, Kuhle Adams, Phil Mphela, Patrick Seleka and Tumi Morake.

Viewers are in for a treat with performances by Sir Trill, Nobantu Vilakazi, Boohle, Nhlanhla Nciza, Pabi Cooper, Reece Madlisa & Zuma, Mr Jazziq, Busta 929, Bontle Smith, DJ Melzi as well as Lady Du.

The awards were hosted by Robot Boii, Moshe Ndiki and Zola Ayabulela Mhlongo, with Zanele Potelwa taking the reins as the official red-carpet host.
