Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122) has announced David Kau and Zodwa Wabantu as the latest roasters for the highly anticipated Comedy Central Roast of Pearl Thusi, airing on 8 December 2024 at 21:00 CAT.
Joining an already feisty panel that includes Randall Abrahams, Busiswa, and Farieda “Pharoahfi” Metsileng, David Kau and Zodwa Wabantu bring a unique blend of humour and unapologetic boldness. Zodwa, known for her outspoken nature, promises no mercy for Pearl Thusi, stating, “I’m bold and unapologetic, and Pearl’s fair game – no special treatment!”
Kau, celebrated for his sharp wit, says, “After roasting Mzansi, I’m ready to bring the spice to Pearl’s Roast. Comedy unites us in laughter, and this Roast will be no exception.”
Monde Twala, Paramount Africa’s Senior VP, adds, “With this powerhouse lineup, expect unforgettable entertainment. Sparks will fly, and no one is safe!”
