MTV has announced additional superstar performers for the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards, set to take place on Sunday, November 10 at Manchester’s Co-op Live. Music icons Pet Shop Boys, SA star Tyla, K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM, and rising star Peso Pluma will join previously announced acts like Shawn Mendes, RAYE, and Benson Boone on the EMA stage.
The Pet Shop Boys, celebrating 40 years in music, will make history as the first recipients of the MTV EMA Pop Pioneers Award. Known as the UK’s most successful music duo, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will perform with the Manchester Camerata orchestra in a special collaboration that honours their legendary career and influence in pop music.
K-pop powerhouse LE SSERAFIM, chart-topping Mexican artist Peso Pluma, and South African hitmaker Tyla are also set to dazzle fans with their performances. LE SSERAFIM recently made waves as the only K-pop group to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks in 2024, Peso Pluma is redefining música Mexicana with his genre-blending style, and Tyla has captivated audiences worldwide with her GRAMMY-winning single “Water,” which soared into the Billboard Top 10.
The event will also feature GRAMMY-winning hip-hop icon LL COOL J and mother-daughter duo Neneh Cherry and Mabel as presenters, bringing even more star power to the night.
The 2024 MTV EMAs will be broadcast live in over 150 countries, airing on MTV (DStv Channel 130) at 22:00 CAT on 10 November. Fans can vote for their favourite artists across categories like "Best Song" and "Best Artist" at mtvema.com until November 6.
